Education and qualifications
Devansh completed his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 2018.
Work experience
He entered product management through a campus placement process at Flipkart, which included a case presentation and multiple rounds of screening, and joined its two-year APM Programme. He began on the customer experience team, handling issues from order placement through post-order support, before moving a year later to the recommendations team, where he worked on ML models that suggested products to customers. He spent close to three years at Flipkart in total.
He then joined Navi, a startup founded by Flipkart's founder, where he worked on underwriting platforms, assessing customer creditworthiness using SMS data and other alternative information in the absence of traditional credit history, and using that to extend loans. He spent 1.5 years at Navi.
He currently works as a Product Manager at Disney+Hotstar, where he collaborates with international teams across design, management and engineering, working on the platform's video consumption experience.
Mentoring experience
Devansh began mentoring in 2019 through a Mentorship Buddy Programme, guiding freshers shortlisted for interviews. He later mentored through a program run by Next Leap, where he conducted more than 50 workshops for over 200 learners.

Devansh's approach centres on clear, jargon-free explanations and interactive sessions built around students' specific doubts rather than a fixed script. Coming from a non-traditional entry point into product management (a chemical engineering background), he brings a practical, first-principles view of the field to his mentoring.
