Sara appeared as the showstopper for designer Anushree Reddy’s MAYA presentation, created in collaboration with Lakmé Salon. The showcase took place at New Delhi’s Taj Palace on October 16, as part of Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI.

For Sara, the walk marked her first appearance on a fashion-week runway. She told ANI that the experience matched the kind of first runway moment she had imagined. She also said the gown’s colour, silhouette and structure felt closely connected to her personal style.

The strapless gown brought together a fitted bodice, white floral embroidery and a sculpted peplum at the waist. From there, the skirt followed a close mermaid silhouette before widening into a sweeping hem.

The embroidery gave the pale-blue fabric texture and detail, while the structured waist created a more dramatic shape. The result balanced softness with a defined silhouette, making the gown feel romantic without relying on a conventional red-and-gold bridal palette.

Anushree Reddy’s MAYA collection brings bridal detail to the runway

Sara’s look came from Anushree Reddy’s fall bridal collection, MAYA. The showcase focused on detailed workmanship and occasionwear silhouettes, with the gown’s embroidery and shaping putting those elements on display.

The powder-blue colour also showed how bridal fashion can move beyond familiar colour choices while retaining ornate detailing.
