After years of festival appearances and one-off sets, Calvin Harris is doing something he has never done before: headlining his own Australian tour.
Calvin Harris – Australia Tour 2027 lands in February, with four shows across four cities. All of them are outdoors, and all of them are big.
Here is everything you need, including one detail in the fine print that is worth reading before you spend money.

Note the run in the middle. Perth, Brisbane and Sydney fall on three consecutive nights Thursday, Friday, Saturday across roughly 4,000 kilometres and two time zones. Melbourne then sits alone the following Friday.
Also note what these venues have in common. Langley Park, the RNA Showgrounds, The Domain and Flemington Racecourse are all open-air sites rather than arenas. That tells you the scale of what is being planned, and it means these are summer-evening shows in the open rather than indoor productions.
When tickets go on sale
Three separate windows, all in local time for the venue you are buying for:
Telstra Plus presale — 11am, Monday 21 September Open only to active Telstra customers. Details at telstra.com.au/plus.
Artist presale — 12pm, Wednesday 23 September Open to anyone who signs up for first access through Untitled Group Co:Brand. The registration deadline is 11am on Thursday 24 September, which means you can still register after the presale has already begun and join it late.
General onsale — 1pm, Thursday 24 September Everyone else.
The VIP detail worth reading twice
Two VIP packages are on offer, and they are not variations on the same thing. One of them will disappoint anyone who buys it expecting a better view.
VIP Lounge + GA is described by Ticketmaster as a premium hospitality experience, with a line stating plainly that there is no direct stage viewing. It is a lounge-first package. You get a general admission ticket, a dedicated VIP entry lane, access to the VIP lounge and a private bar, a cloakroom, a phone charging station, a photobooth, a commemorative laminate and lanyard, and an exclusive merchandise item.
What you do not get is a better position for watching Calvin Harris.
VIP + Stage Front GA is the one that improves the view. It includes a Stage Front GA ticket and a dedicated stage-front viewing area alongside the same lounge access, bar, amenities, laminate and merchandise.
This distinction matters because "VIP" at most shows implies proximity. Here, one package is comfort and one is proximity, and only the second puts you near the stage. Ticketmaster states it clearly in its own listing — but it sits well down the page, and plenty of people will buy on the badge rather than the inclusions.
If you want to be close, you need the Stage Front package. If you want somewhere civilised to sit down, charge your phone and get a drink without queuing, the Lounge package is genuinely that, and there is nothing wrong with wanting it. Just buy the one you actually mean.
The ticket limits are not the same in every window
This catches people out every year.
During the Telstra Plus presale you can buy a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction.
During the artist presale and general onsale, the limit rises to 6 tickets per transaction.
If you are organising a group of five or six, the Telstra presale will not get you there in one go, even though it opens first.
Everything else you need to know
It is an 18+ tour. Valid ID is required for entry at all four shows. This is the detail most likely to cause a problem on the night, particularly for outdoor summer shows where younger fans often assume otherwise.
Tickets are mobile-only. There are no printed tickets. Your phone is your ticket, and it must be accessed through the Ticketmaster app. Download it before the day rather than in a queue outside Flemington.
You need a My Ticketmaster account. Set it up now, not at 12:59pm on the day. Check that your email, phone number and payment details are current, because you will be sent a sign-in verification code by text and a wrong number will lock you out of the queue.
Buy only through Ticketmaster. It is the only way to guarantee a valid ticket for entry, and resale markets for a first-ever headline tour will be predatory.
Accessible tickets can be booked through the Ticketmaster website, through a request via the Ticketmaster Help Centre selecting Accessible Bookings and then Calvin Harris, or by calling the Accessible Booking Line on 1300 446 925, open Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm AEDT. Availability and ticket types vary by venue, and submitting a request does not guarantee a ticket.
How to improve your odds
Ticketmaster's own guidance is unglamorous and correct.
Join the queue from one browser, on one device, in one tab. Opening additional tabs or devices can remove you from the queue entirely rather than improving your chances. Notify your bank in advance if you have card limits or purchase authorisations that might block a sudden transaction. Keep your phone beside you for the verification code.
And be realistic about the crowd. This is a first-ever headline tour by one of the most commercially successful electronic artists in the world, across four outdoor shows and no more. Thousands of people will be in the queue at the same moment.
The short version
Four shows, all outdoors, all in February. Perth on the 18th, Brisbane on the 19th, Sydney on the 20th, Melbourne on the 26th.
Telstra customers go first on Monday the 21st, the artist presale follows on Wednesday the 23rd, and everyone else on Thursday the 24th.
